54 Portions
There is no commandment in the Torah to wear a Tallit.
However, we do have a commandment requiring us to place a Tzizit on four
corners of a garment, what we call today– the Tallit.
This image has four parts to it.
The background has the passages from the Torah requiring us to place
Tzizit on 4 corners of a garment in Hebrew, repeatedly.
The white square has the blessing we recite before we put the Tallit on.
The front square has the names of the books of the Torah written in
Hebrew. The names are placed in a circular motion, as a never ending
cycle.
And from the middle of the box in the center, the core of the Torah come
the Tzizit knotted like the ones we knot on the Tallit.
