613 Mitzvot

The design
The 613 mitzvot are also known as 
Taryag, the numeric value of 613. Of these, 248 are "do" commandments, traditionally the number of bones in the human body. The other 365 are "do not" commandments, one for each day of the year.
Each small circle on this tallit is one commandment, placed in the order it appears in the Torah. White circles are the "do," and blue circles are the "do not."
The 248 "do" commandments rest on your left side, close to your heart. The 365 "do not" commandments rest on your right, the arm of strength and will. Together they're a guide to living with values and dignity.
The hidden light
The satin inner side is like the Or Ganuz, the hidden light that surrounds you and only you. As you wrap yourself and say the blessing, and as you move in prayer, glimpses of that shine appear, like sparks of your own hidden light.
